Biggest Loser-Cat Edition

Many of you know that we have a much loved cat named Samantha Joe Johnston, aka Sammie, or Sam. Even though she is a very important part of our family, we had to make the difficult decision of NOT bringing Sam to Japan. The hours of flight on the plane and the long quarantine upon arrival would have literally killed her, so God answered our prayers by providing us with an amazing friend, Aunt Ellen, who was willing to "babysit" Sam until our return.

Before we left 2 years ago, Sam should I say it...well, FAT. She was a huge plump of 15 pound black fur. When she sat on her tummy of the floor, the aerial view looked like a humongous Thanksgiving turkey. Here are a couple of photos of her "BEFORE":DSCF0256.JPG

Ladies and gentleman. After 2 years of exercise, no in-between-meal snacking, and smaller portions, look at what she as achieved! Here is Samantha AFTER:

Thank you, Aunt Ellen, for taking such good care of her. She's a brand new cat!!
