Lordy, Lordy, Nozomi's Forty!

they were 40 years old when they moved to the United States when they began their ministry to the Japanese living in Atlanta. That was a cool reminder since my family and I are now here in Higashi Kurume, telling people about Jesus. What a neat legacy to continue (see my previous blog on Zack and Ellie's Spiritual Legacy Part 1 and Part 2).

My reflections are those of gratitude.

  • I am SO thankful to my Savior Jesus for loving me, in spite of all my failings and weaknesses.
  • I am grateful for my husband, who loves me unconditionally as well, and teaches me who God is through how He treats me and the children.
  • I am thankful for my kids who challenge me daily to face my own sins, and yet bring me joy beyond words.
  • I am grateful for my new life here in Tokyo. God has BLESSED us with tons of friends.
  • I am thankful for my heart's desire to see my friends worship the One and Only true God, and that we have the opportunity to share the the love of Jesus with them.
  • I am thankful for our friends back in the States who have sent us here with their sacrificial giving.

I am blessed, blessed, blessed. My life has meaning and purpose because I KNOW JESUS.
